about internal convos with/about husbands

“I meant PUT THEM AWAY.”

I found myself saying this to Stan the other day.  Only I wasn’t actually saying it to him.  I was saying it in my head while he was at work.

The Holy Spirit immediately put His finger on my yucky heart.

GO ON TO EXPLAIN HOW TO CONTROL INTERNAL CONVOS.  TAKE EVERY THOUGHT CAPTIVE.

1. THINK OF ALL THE WAYS HE SERVES ME. BUT THIS ONE DOESN’T ACTUALLY GO TO THE ROOT.

2. SERVE HUSBAND AS UNTO THE LORD.  NO NAGGING.  NO GRIPING.  INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL.

LOVINGLY HAVE CONVERSATION ABOUT IT IF IT’S REALLY AN ISSUE.

BUT TAKE THOUGHTS CAPTIVE DURING THE DAY AND DON’T TALK WITH HIM OUT OF AN EMOTIONAL PLACE.  MAKE SURE ALL NEEDS ARE MET BY THE LORD BEFORE HAVING CONVO.

Know someone who'd appreciate this?
